This piece was created for ROAM during the summer that I moved to Tennessee. Having grown up and spent most of my life in Florida, the transition opened my eyes to the season in a fresh way, and I found myself especially aware of the landscape around me. Lush greens, warm light, wildflowers, and the shifting blues of the Nashville sky all found their way into my canvases as I worked, alongside the familiar influences of faith, memories, and everyday beauty that continue to shape my practice.
