This painting is inspired by the deep feelings of rest and restoration that comes from spending time out in nature, listening to the wind as it blows through the trees or walking through a soft bed of grass. Summertime is my favorite time of year, and the Appalachian Mountains are my favorite place to spend the summer – so I love how “Breathe” reminds me of this place and season.
